Websites for Kids is a compilation of websites gathered by the MTNA as an "overview of selected websites that teachers might find helpful for augmenting lesson materials particularly to enhance those six practice days between lessons!" (from MTNA.org) The categories of websites are Performer-Based Websites, Symphony-Based Websites, and Music Game/Theory/History/Listening Websites. There are also Teacher Resource Websites.
Music Link Foundation
The MusicLink Foundation's goal is to help children who deserve the opportunity to receive music lessons but cannot afford them. It links low-income families with professional music teachers who are willing to reduce their fee to make the lessons more affordable for the student. Assistance is also available for music, materials, instruments and music camp scholarships.
